"Mendota a town in Minnesota"
It is nestled on the banks of the Minnesota River. The name Mendota comes from the Dakota word that means “where the waters meet”. One of Minnesota oldest houses still is standing here. It was Henry Hastings Sibley’s, General and 1st Governor of Minnesota. When I was 12, I toured the house with my school class. It is still a great place see.
There is now 200 plus people living in Mendota and feels like a small town in the country but you are really surrounded by the Twin Cities. Want to know more just contact me.
