"A little bit of something for everyone."
Minneapolis really does have a lot to offer. We've lived in Minneapolis for 17 years, we've lived in two different neighborhoods and we've experienced life here with and without kids. The neighborhoods are amazing, with a little research you can find a neighborhood that's right for you, home prices and amenities vary neighborhood by neighborhood but they all have something unique to offer. The streets are clean and lined with tree's and just about every neighborhood has a beautiful park with great equipment for the kids to play on as well as green space for picnics and relaxation. There are a ton of trails to bike, run or walk, The Grand Rounds Scenic Byway is one, it connects downtown Minneapolis to the Minnehaha Falls to the Chain of Lakes, it's 50 miles long and a great way to explore the city as well as exercise. Minneapolis has a vibrant theater scene, a great place to take in a performance is the Guthrie, the building is a performance in itself. We have great restaurants, my favorites are all the locally owned neighborhood restaurants, every neighborhood seems to have at least one. Beautiful museums, The Walker Art Center is my favorite, you have to check out Spoonbridge and Cherry, it's a Minneapolis icon. Minneapolis is home to the Minnesota Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves and The Wild. There are a variety of great schools to chose from, public and private, from elementary to the University of Minnesota. The people in Minnesota are educated, involved in their communities and genuinely nice.
