"Find Your Rambler Here"

The city of Richfield, once lush farmland, is a first-ring suburb whose growth took off after World War Two as GIs returned from the war and bought their first homes on the GI bill. Hence much of the housing is comprised of ramblers or story-and-half bungalows built in the 50s. Richfield remains an affordable close-in community and therefore a lure to first-time homebuyers. Bounded by the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport on the east and Edina on the west, Richfield is a great location and close to just about everything!

"Bargains to be had."

As I former resident of Richfield I have fond memories of our time there. Charming homes built from the 1940's thru 1970's on tree lined streets built with a quality often not seen in newer construction. The homes have "great bones" for the bargain hunters and first time home buyers looking for a home to make their own. You can be minutes to the airpport, MOA and all sorts of dining options. It is also a convenient commute to Minneapolis. Take a look for yourself.
Pros
  • Charming Homes
  • Close to the Airport and MOA
  • Convenient to Downtown MPLS/STP
  • Everything at your finger tips
Cons
  • Airplane noise

"Great 1st Tier Suburb"

I grew up in Richfield.
It's a great community for the young and old.
Shopping, public transportataion, medical facilities and great parks and
Schools.
Growing up in Richfield, I remember being able to walk to the city
pool to meet friends, walking to school when the weather was nice
and walking to 66th street to catch a bus to go to Southdale.
All those things still remain true today.
Then, of course, there is the ease of commuting to Downtown Minneapolis
and the airport.
Pros
  • Everything at your finger tips
