"Its like living in a small town, in a big city"

I have been a Lynnhurst Resident for 10 years and have really grown to love it. My kids go to Burroughs Elementary School which is just a fantastic place. The teachers are great, and there is strong parent involvement. There is a very strong sense of community. Many of the local businesses, shops and restaurants are owned and operated by Lynnhurst Residents, which I think is important. And of course, the proximity to Lake Harriet, and Minnehaha Creek/Parkway running right through the neighborhood gives it that extra special character.
